MyCARE was recommended the Special Consultative Status from the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC)

23rd May 2017 – Non-Governmental Organizations Committee has recommended the Economic and Social Council grant special consultative status to Humanitarian Care Malaysia Berhad (MyCARE). The decision was made during 2017 Resumed session of the Committee on Non-Governmental Organizations on 20th meeting. This meeting was held from 22nd to 31st May 2017 in New York. MyCARE together with 164 NGOs around the world have applied for Consultative status in this session.

 
The Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) is the principal organ that candidates the economic, social and related work of 14 United Nations specialized agencies UNESCO, WHO, IMF, UNHCR etc), functional commissions (Commission for Social Development, Status of Women etc) and five regional commissions serantau (ECE, ECA, ECLAC, ESCAP, ESCWA). It serves as the central forum for discussing international economic and social issues, and for formulating policy recommendations addressed to Member States and the United Nations system.
With this Consultative Status, MyCARE will be more prominent on humanitarian issues in global stage. MyCARE also can provide expert analysis on issues that arise, help monitor and implement international agreement, Service as an early warning agent and many more.
We would like to express our gratitude to Malaysian who have been contributed through MyCARE. Since 2010 until Mei 2017 90 million Ringgit has been distributed to beneficiaries in 21 countries.
